Palace was full of people this evening. I didn’t like these noisy events and so I was there for the first time. Meeting at the solemn celebration was the demand of L.

Despite the officiality, the way to the couples dancing in the middle of a hall was free. Getting through them I almost spinned like a whirlwind wedging in a dance. Some of them danced so enthusiastically and their eyes burned like fire and that was very seductive.

I seeked him a long while. I moved to the wall that was painted by some Italian artist, I’m not too good with names. There were a lot of writers among the dancers, we weren’t friends but I remembered their faces because I took part in a meeting of writers society last month.

Suddenly I felt a touch from behind. I was grabbed by the jacket, someone pulled me back. I turned around shaken. The man in a mask got closer and said: «Fused with the shadow». That moment L. found me by himself. I turned around to him and he hugged me happily and patted me on the back. I broke free in a hope to know what the stranger had on his mind. I take a look around the hall and understood that there were no any people in masks.
